My name is Laura Velasquez and I am the owner of “A Personal Bookkeeper” and I am also a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. I have more than 20 years experience working with many types of small and midsize businesses. I initially started my own business after I discovered too many business owners hand over their financial information to companies that employ people you do not know. I found that many of these companies have employees that were embezzling money from the companies they were entrusted to service. I have also worked for employers that had previous bookkeepers that I eventually found that were stealing money from the company. Since then, my main mission is to help businesses by providing accurate, ethical, and safe services to my clients with additional services that can’t be matched. Admittedly, I am a workaholic and have never seen a business in my industry that has 7 day availability for their clients.

Recently, my primary emphasis has been on virtual bookkeeping. However, I also locally service: Casa Grande, Maricopa, Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, and surrounding areas. Quickbooks is the most popular software platform and I am also a certified QuickBooks Advisor and trainer — available for individual or group instruction. I am familiar with both old and new Windows operating systems and Mac OS.
My specialty is accounting clean-up and solving accounting problems that prior bookkeepers or business owners could not correct. My main goals are to provide and maintain accurate financials for my clients, while also building a long-term business relationship in a manner that fits my client’s schedule.
